Bartending Jobs New Jersey
There is a shortage for bartenders in New Jersey areas. Though there are more drinkers here than anywhere else , lot of them seems to go thirsty. A quick internet search for bartending jobs in New Jersey gives you page after page of immediate job openings.
Everything from small neighborhood bars to local restaurants to national franchises are currently looking for bartenders. Both public and private establishments in all areas of the state are searching for full or part time help. Some are asking for experience, but many offer to do the training themselves.
While most employers don’t have high starting salaries, there is the potential for large tips. You can even find some employers offering health package benefits!
Several of their requirements are the same. Smiling faces, positive attitudes and a desire to give the customers a pleasant experience. Bartenders often get to see the best and the worst sides of their customer’s personalities. So the need for cheerfulness is a necessity. And a smiling bartender, one quick with a joke and a good word can soon find their tip jar filled with monetary proof of their customer’s appreciation.
The right person can pretty much pick their hours. There are many shifts to choose from. Weekends are usually the best times for large crowds. Customers in large crowds appreciate a cheerful, efficient and speedy bartender and are usually willing to show their gratitude with generous tips.
But if you prefer to work during the week, you can choose day or night shifts. People drink at lunch, dinner and every hour in between and beyond. You might not find much call for a bartender at breakfast, unless it’s to a crowd that hasn’t gone to bed yet.
Bartending job openings in New Jersey might not be at an all time high, but they’re not far from it. People all over the state are waiting anxiously for their orders to be taken and their drink glasses to be filled. The need is there, the opportunity’s there and the money’s there. All that’s missing are the bartenders.
